At Venable Elementary, student needs and teacher assessments help us create flexible groups that enable each child to receive the instruction they require to grow academically.
In the Charlottesville City Schools, your child could be identified as academically gifted either in English and/or mathematics. With this gifted identification, your child becomes part of my caseload, and I become his/her specialist and in-school advocate. This identification follows your child throughout their CCS career. If your child is not formally identified and I am working with them, the educators have noticed your child's growing level of high-readiness work.
